Nebraskaland!

A few days ago I was minding my own business on my morning commute and was confronted with this sort of beautiful but oddly ambiguous truck.













One might think that the state of Nebraska rented the side of the truck to promote tourism in said land.







As we can see from the second picture (via google image search, obvs!), I am not the only one who's been enchanted by this truck.

On further investigation in regular ol' google, I sadly discovered that my enchantment was to be short-lived.

Nebraskaland, it turns out, is "the largest meat distributor in the tri-state area."

Sometimes you just have to go...

Throwback Thursday.

I started the day off by waking up at 6am and not being able to fall back asleep. Naturally this led me to the shower, which unnaturally led me to my blowdryer, and now I look just like I looked in high school. And now, together, we are naturally led to a series of before and afters.

This lovely pair features me and my darling Hugh West the Third. I'd say 10 years has been pretty good to us...will follow up in another 10.


Next we have Steph, a tabe mate of mine.. My favorite thing (or person) about the first pic is definitely the girl in the primus shirt who may or may not be all grown up in the pic to the right of Steph. Again, always keeping it classy.

And then, we magically land at the would-be hunk and nerd from the greatest show on earth. Yes, this before and after series was a ploy. All I really wanted to show you was this:

*and by shrink, I mean, she asked me odd questions about my psyche.

Yes, its been a while. We have many topics to cover, and yet nothing can possibly beat this gem from my inbox.

Ok, so back to the recap. Spent the weekend at the farm. This included what my sister and I have now dubbed the follow-through of the century: a trip to Sandcastle Water park which was definitely a drunken idea the night before. While reminiscing on our trip to the park this morning, I came across this warning!:




Whether or not our visit resulted in said loss of power is a mystery, but it certainly seems fishy.

This morning also presented me with an incredible google-related image. A coworker was trying to remember the name of a bar featuring an underused mechanical bull. Upon searching, this was found:

No, he does not remember this.
